LOVE Brakemans! We've already been there 4 times and it's only been open a week! 😉 Since we have a little one, my favorite spot is the children play space they created in the middle room. Absolutely brilliant! The staff is super friendly and the coffee and pastries are delicious. Check it out!

Came from work and was very wound up from a long hard day. Came to brakemans hoping it would brighten my day and it did just that. Let's start with the pastries. I thought I was just gonna get one but by the time I left I had eaten three. I got a nice mango yogurt smoothie that was as fresh as the Caribbean Sea. To say the least, I will be back and you can count on me to be a regular customer!!

EXCELLENT addition to downtown Matthews! Just opened, so longevity is yet to be tested, but on the first visit this place is pretty near perfect. Great staff, delicious brew, and absolutely gorgeous/functioning space with two outdoor areas, standard lounge/conversational tables inside, and a "quiet room" tucked in the back with full-wall windows. Looking forward to having the convenience of a quality coffee bar so close!
